This is her interview:
What is your book about? The title Self Help Slut came to me during a writing class I was taking when one of the other writers was reading, and his microphone was fading in and out. While he was adjusting it, it sounded like he said “self-help slut.” Of course, it was nothing of that sort at all, but I knew at that moment that’s what I would name the workbook series. Later, as I fully contemplated using this title, I realized there were other factors to consider. The clients who I’d been working with for all these years had beautiful hearts, yet they lacked the belief that they were worthy of knowing or understanding anything of the spirit world. Many had been taught that only a select few are worthy of the spiritual walk. They were people who’d been discarded by their families or friends and made to feel as if they were worthless. I grew up feeling the same way, feeling that I could never be loved. If you remember, in How I Found My Superpowers, I shared the story from my childhood of the peeping tom at the kitchen window when, though I was just age seven, my mother called me a slut. While I didn’t even know the word or its meaning at the time, it was a term that she continued to use when she would get jealous. So, in a sense, if a person can get past the false belief imposed by society, family, or stigma of a certain word or phrase like slut, then they are on the path to becoming their authentic self. And they can begin clearing their energy field of other people’s shit like I did with my mother.
Why did you want to write this book? To help everyone, male and female, learn to clear their energy field of self-sabotaging and culturally restricting beliefs. And raise their frequency by healing trauma and relationship contracts that they’ve carried in this lifetime.
What do you hope other people will take away from reading your book? Releasing the guilt that they have been carrying through their life because of negative attachments accepted from society, family, or false beliefs. And releasing all judgment for self and others.
How long did it take to write your book? 6 weeks. A lot of authors are shocked at how little time it takes me to write a book but there are several factors involved. The information is gathered through years of experiences and channelings and then produced on paper—or computer to be specific.
What’s the best writing advice you ever received? One of my writing instructors said, “Write what you know”. This means that you should write about what you have knowledge or passion for. My publisher’s motto is “Everyone has a story to tell”. I believe that is true and writing is the best way to express that story.
What do you do when you are not writing? I stay very busy with helping people and animals. I’m either conducting readings to help people awaken to their truth or being an advocate for animal rights.
What’s next for you? I finished my next book which will be released in October 2022—It Was Murder. I’m currently writing my second and third book in the Self Help Slut™ workbook series and completing a screenplay.
How can our readers get a copy of your book? My book is sold on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Apple, Google play, and anywhere books are sold.
