We love introducing our readers to books that inspire, educate, entertain, and empower women over 40. Whether you’ve written a memoir, business book, novel, personal development guide, health book, or inspirational story, we’d love to learn more about you and your work.

Our Worth Reading section showcases books by women, about women, and for women. Our goal is simple—to introduce great books and remarkable authors to our growing community of readers.

Our Editorial Philosophy

We Publish Recommendations—Not Reviews

Supporting authors is important to us.

Rather than writing critical reviews, we publish thoughtful recommendations featuring books we believe will resonate with our readers.

While we cannot guarantee every submission will be featured, every book is carefully considered. If we feel your book is not the right fit for our audience or editorial direction, we will let you know.

Because of the number of submissions we receive, we encourage authors to submit books within one year of publication whenever possible. However, we also welcome timeless, evergreen books that continue to provide value to readers.

Publication Timeline

Most book features are published within 6–12 weeks after we receive your complete submission.

If we experience a backlog, publication may take a little longer.

A gentle follow-up after approximately eight weeks is always welcome.

Need your feature published sooner?

We offer Priority Publishing.

For $35, we will guarantee publication of your interview or excerpt within 7 days after receiving your complete submission and payment.

Simply mention Priority Publishing when submitting your materials, and we’ll send you an invoice. Once paid it will be scheduled for publishing.

Deadlines

There is no deadline for submission, however we prefer to review books within a year of their release date. We are open to reviewing older books if they are timely, evergreen and you can convince us the book is worth reviewing.

We ask that authors send us a copy of their book when sending your submission and include a copy of that submission with the mailing.

Submission Guidelines

Please submit all interviews and excerpts as either:

• a Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx), or
• write in the body of your email.

Please do not send PDFs or protected documents for interviews or excerpts, as we must be able to format the content for publication.

Permissions

By submitting your materials, you grant Women of Wisdom Magazine permission to publish your interview, excerpt, book cover, author photograph, biography, and related promotional materials on our website, digital magazine, newsletters, and social media channels.

You retain all rights to your work.

After Your Feature is Published

Once your feature goes live, you’ll receive:
